Kane is a Seattle based pianist with performance experience across China, Australia, and the United States, having appeared at venues including the Melbourne Recital Centre, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Lincoln Center in New York, and Seattle’s Meany Theater. 

 

Kane holds a Bachelor of Music with Honors from the University of Melbourne and studied at the Australian National Academy of Music with Timothy Young. He later received the prestigious Frances Hall Scholarship to study at the Manhattan School of Music with Alexandre Moutouzkine, while also working with renowned pianists Solomon Mikowsky and Albert Markov.

 

Currently a Doctor of Musical Art candidate at the University of Washington, Kane studies with internationally acclaimed pianist Craig Sheppard. He was a semifinalist in the 2022 Seattle International Piano Competition and won the 2026 University of Washington Concerto Competition, earning the opportunity to perform Schumann’s Piano Concerto with the Harmonia Symphony Orchestra.
